C.L. Embry is an award-winning author of visionary fantasy exploring the hidden forces that shape our lives—belief, identity, transformation, and the struggle to master oneself. Blending epic fantasy with elements of alchemy, mysticism, and metaphysical philosophy, his stories follow flawed characters confronting not only the forces arrayed against them but the battles raging within.

Drawing in part from his own experiences overcoming addiction and patterns of self-victimization, Embry explores transformation through the lens of fantasy: the choices we make, the beliefs we carry, and the possibility that changing our inner world can alter the path before us.

When he isn't writing or disappearing into a good book, he enjoys exploring new places or taking to the open road in his RV. Originally from Southern California, he draws inspiration from travel, new perspectives, and the unexpected turns along the journey.
